marc_baerMarc H. Baer, a 1978 graduate of the university of Baltimore Law School, focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, family law and real estate. Marc is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts in Maryland, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Tax Court.

Since 1980 Marc has served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. Marc also serves on the mediation panel for the circuit Courts for Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County.

Marc is a member of the Maryland State, Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County Bar Associations, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Maryland Collaborative Practice Council, Inc., Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence.

Marc is a Fellow of the Maryland State Bar Association. Membership is, recognition of “outstanding dedication and contribution to maintaining the honor and integrity of the legal profession, the improvement and facilitation of the administration of justice, the work of the organized Bar of Maryland and civic leadership.” Membership is limited to not more than 2.5% of MSBA membership. Invitations are extended only after nomination by a current Fellow and endorsement by the Board of Directors of the Foundation.

Martindale-Hubbell recognizes Marc as an AV® rated attorney (ISLN # 909317865), the highest such rating available to any individual lawyer.
